Kavrin is an opium alkaloid used primarily in the treatment of intuitive spasm, vasospasm (especially those involving a heart and the brain), and once in a while in the professional assistance of erectile dysfunction.While these are encountered in the opium poppy, papaverine differs within each structure & pharmacologic action from either a more opium alkaloids.

Kavrin is available as a conjugate of hydrochloride, codecarboxylate, adenylate, and teprosylate.
